Get to Know a Rescue Group - Lucky Pup Rescue of Southern Maine

This Lucky Pup puppy is one of a litter of nine that arrived in Maine this weekend!

The following information was taken from the Lucky Pup Rescue home page at www.luckypuprescue.org.

Lucky Pup Rescue is a small, non-profit, family-run rescue based in Southern Maine. Lucky Pup believes that all dogs deserve a safe and happy home regardless of where they are from and work to re-home both local dogs in need and Southern dogs from overcrowded partner shelters.

Lucky Pup does not have a physical shelter but bring all their dogs to safety by using a network of foster homes. Lucky Pup Rescue, Inc. is committed to finding the best "doggie" fit for you and your lifestyle so all have many happy years together.

Their adoption process includes the completion of an application, phone interview, veterinary and personal reference check, and home visit. The standard adoption fee is $300 for dogs, $250 for dogs 7 and older. This helps cover adoption costs, transportation to New England if applicable, vaccinations & medical and boarding costs so that we may continue to rescue other at risk dogs.
Lucky Pup is happy to answer any questions and inquiries into their dogs.
